Terry Chambers (born
18 July 1955 ,Swindon ,Wiltshire ,England ) was thedrummer and a founding member ofXTC , appearing on all Studio and Livealbum s until his departure during the 1983 sessions for "Mummer", on which he played on "Beating of Hearts," "Wonderland," “Love On A Farmboy’s Wages” and a B-side, "Toys".He moved to his wife's native
Australia , drumming briefly with the band, Dragon (late 1983 to mid 1985). He is featured on the Dragon albums "Body And The Beat" (1984) and the live album and live home video "Live One" (1985). He is also featured in the promotional video clips for the songs "Wilderworld", "Cry", "Magic" and "Rain".Terry is widely regarded in drumming circles as one of the most innovative and also most underrated drummers of his time. He is now a business owner in the construction industry, and is no longer involved in the
music industry himself although his son Kai (Drums) and daughter Corie (Bass) are both playing in bands.External links
