The Gymnastics at the 2006 Commonwealth Games was made up of the following disciplines:

*Artistic gymnastics (March 16 to March 18 and March 20 to March 21)
**Men's and Women's Team
**Men's and Women's All-Round Individual
**Men's Floor Exercise, Horizontal Bar, Parallel Bars, Pommel Horse, Rings and Vault.
**Women's Balance Beam, Floor Exercise, Uneven Bars and Vault.

*Rhythmic gymnastics (March 24 to March 26)
**Team Event
**All Round Individual
**Ribbon, Rope, Clubs, Ball (No Hoop event is scheduled [http://www.melbourne2006.com.au/Schedule+and+Results/By+Sport/Gymnastics+Rhythmic/] )

The events took place in Rod Laver Arena.
