- Sergei Prokofieff
Sergei Prokofieff was born in
Moscow in 1954, where he studied fine arts and painting at the Moscow School of Art. He encounteredanthroposophy in his youth, and soon made the decision to devote his life to it. He wrote his first book, "Rudolf Steiner and the Founding of the New Mysteries" while living in Soviet Russia; the book was published in Germany in 1982. After the fall ofcommunism , he became a co-founder of theAnthroposophical Society in Russia, and since Easter 2001 he has been a member of the Executive Council of the General Anthroposophical Society inDornach ,Switzerland . Prokofieff is a prolific author, and an outspoken critic ofValentin Tomberg and his followers.External links
