Joey Meyer (basketball coach)

Joey Meyer is the current coach of the Tulsa 66ers, an NBA Development League located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Previous to coaching in Tulsa, he led the Asheville Altitude to back-to-back NBA Development League Championships. Meyers also coached the Chicago Skyliners of the ABA2000 to a 29-11 record and claiming the Western Conference Championship.

He is most notably the former college men's basketball coach of DePaul University. For thirteen seasons Meyer served as head coach for the Blue Demons (1984-1997) accomplishing a 231-158 record. His tenure included six seasons with twenty or more wins, seven appearances in the NCAA Tournament, and three trips to the NIT. Meyer was honored as the CBS Chevrolet Coach of the Year in 1987.
