footnotes =Kangaamiut is a settlement in
West Greenland in themunicipality ofManiitsoq . With apopulation of 414 (as of Jan. 2004), it is the biggest settlement ("bygd") outside the municipal centres ofGreenland .It is located just north of Maniitsoq at coord|65|49|60|N|53|19|60|W. It is also the location where the town of "Sukkertoppen" (
Maniitsoq ) originally lay when the colony was founded in 1755, until it moved in 1782 to its present location.References
