Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers

The Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers is one of the Livery Companies of the City of London. The organisation was formed in 1956, and the City granted it Livery status in 1964. The Company promotes science by offering scholarships to science students.

The Company ranks eighty-fourth in the order of precedence for Livery Companies. Its motto is " Sine Nobis Scientia Languet", Latin for "Science Languishes Without Us".
