Pińczów [IPA-pl|'|p|i|ń|cz|u|f] is a town in Poland, in Świętokrzyskie Voivodship, about 40 km south of Kielce. It is the capital of Pińczów County. Population is 11,943 (2004).

Town history dates to the 12th century quarry. The town was destroyed by Germans in September 1939 and almost all Jews were killed by them later. The Jewish cemetery was also destroyed. The town has several tourist attractions, including the 18th palace of the Wielkopolscy family, several churches and monasteries (some dating to 15th century), a synagogue, and ruins of a 13th century castle.
