Piledriver: The Wrestling Album 2 [ [http://www.wrestlecrap.com/oldinductions.html Piledriver: The Wrestling Album 2: Sometimes love feels like an ar-gew-ment, it feels just like a piledriver. If Koko B. Ware says it, it must be true.] ] was an album released by the World Wrestling Federation in 1987. It featured mostly recent theme tunes of wrestlers on the roster at the time, and featured actual vocal performances from several of the wrestlers themselves.

The original vinyl LP release of "Piledriver" featured a head shot of Hulk Hogan wearing a construction hard hat on the front cover. As of 2007, the 20th anniversary of the original album's release, it has not yet officially appeared on the CD format, whereas every other WWF/WWE album has. In addition to the album, a VHS videotape version was also issued in 1987 by Coliseum Video. This tape featured music videos for 8 of the songs from the album (the songs "Crank It Up" and "Waking Up Alone" did not have music videos made for them).

Miscellaneous

*Vince McMahon performed a live version of "Stand Back" at the 1987 Slammy Awards. Footage from this performance would be used in a 2001 episode of "WWE Raw" by Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit to poke fun at McMahon as well as a 2006 episode of Raw in which D-Generation X members Triple H and Shawn Michaels imitated Vince and Shane McMahon, respectively. The complete music video can also be found on the "McMahon" DVD as a special feature.

*The tag team Strike Force (which consisted of Tito Santana and Rick Martel) used an instrumental version of "Girls in Cars" as their entrance theme.

*Slick's song "Jive Soul Bro" was initially used as the entrance theme for "The Natural" Butch Reed until his departure from the WWF in 1988. The song was then used by various other charges of Slick's, including One Man Gang/Akeem (under both personas), Big Boss Man, and Rick Martel.

*Jimmy Hart's song "Crank It Up" was originally intended to be used by The Hart Foundation, but was stolen (kayfabe) by the tag team The Young Stallions (Jim Powers and Paul Roma) as their entrance theme. This led to a brief feud between the Stallions and the Harts. Powers wound up using this song during his solo "enhancement talent" career in the early 1990s, being one of a few (if any) jobbers who had theme music.
