Behringer Truth series

The Behringer Truth series is a series of studio monitors designed and manufactured by Behringer. The original Truth series introduced in 2003 comprises the B2030P and B2030A that feature a 6.75 inch polypropylene woofer, the B2031P and the B2031A that have broadly similar specifications to the B2030s but feature a 8.75 inch driver that expands the linear bass response to 55Hz, in addition the series includes the B2092A active sub-woofer (The A in the model names stands for Active while P stands for Passive). Despite numerous claims the design and sound of the 2030/2031 models is quite different to Genelec and Mackie monitors, but they do have a visual similarity to certain older Genelec models.

In 2007 the company introduced a more more upmarket line of Truth series monitors in the form of the B3030A and the B3031A, the main changes from the earlier models lie in the tweeter arrangement, but the B202x series uses a conventional ferrofluid cooled dome tweeters while the B303x series use a more exotic velocity ribbon tweeters, but in addition the cone material in the woofers is Kevlar rather than polypropylene.
