Preston Lodge Former Pupil Rugby Football Club are a rugby union side based in Prestonpans in East Lothian, Scotland. Formed in 1929, they currently play in National League Division 1.

Preston Lodge play at the Pennypit Park, in Prestonpans and are currently fielding three teams each week.

The club formed in 1929/30 with Dr. Boyle as its first president and originates from the roots of Preston Lodge High School, formed in 1924. This connection is still going strong today with players joining from the school to play in the Mini's, S1, U16 and the first team, as well as from the surrounding area's population. The club has over the years formed links with United Pirates - a club in New Zealand. This has allowed for the exchange of players and coaching techniques.

A number of PLRFC players have ended up playing age group rugby for Scotland and gaining many caps for their country. The most recent and successful players to do this are Scott Murray and Allan Jacobsen, who are both currently playing in the Edinburgh and Scotland national squad.

The club also founded the Rugby Tens Style Tournament and produced the ten-a-side team known as the Thorntree Helldogs, founded in 2007Fact|date=March 2008.
