"Shoot to Kill" (also known internationally as Deadly Pursuit) is an adventure thriller movie released in 1988 starring Sidney Poitier as an FBI agent tracking a psychopathic killer trying to escape across the mountains into Canada. Tom Berenger plays a mountain-man who helps Poitier track the killer after Berenger's girlfriend, played by Kirstie Alley, is abducted and forced to be the killer's mountain guide. The film was directed by Roger Spottiswoode.

In an unusual move, the killer's identity is not revealed until halfway through the movie.
