Lake Norman High School is located in Mooresville, North Carolina. The school is a part of the Iredell-Statesville school system. The name of the school comes from nearby Lake Norman. Lake Norman High was built to relieve over crowding at near-by South Iredell High School.

The school, as of the 1st day of school in the 2008-2009 year, has a student bosy of about 1,925.The school was originally built for 1,300 students. In 2006, a new wing was added on to the school as a Freshmen Wing.

Athletics

The Lake Norman men's soccer team won the N.C. High School Athletic Association state 3-A boys soccer championship over defending state champion Jacksonville High School during the Fall 2006 season, and repeated as champions over Wilson Fike during the Fall 2007 season.
