Prospect is a United Kingdom trade union which represents engineers, managers, specialists and scientists in both the public and private sectors. It was formed on 1 November 2001 by the merger of the trade unions the Institute of Professionals Managers and Specialists (IPMS) and the Engineering Managers Association (EMA). As of 2006 it has 102,000 members, the president is Graeme Henderson and its General Secretary is Paul Noon.
