Nicholas Knatchbull

Nicholas Timothy Charles Knatchbull (18 November 1964–27 August 1979), styled "The Hon. Nicholas Knatchbull", was the son of the 7th Baron Brabourne and his wife, formerly The Hon. Patricia Mountbatten (now the 2nd Countess Mountbatten of Burma) and was the twin brother of Timothy Knatchbull.

He was killed at the age of 14 by a bomb planted by the Provisional Irish Republican Army at Donegal Bay, along with his maternal grandfather, the 1st Earl Mountbatten of Burma, and paternal grandmother, the Dowager Baroness Brabourne. He was also descended from Edward Knight (né Austen), brother of English novelist Jane Austen.
