Afşin is a town and district of
Kahramanmaraş Province in the Mediterranean region ofTurkey .The town of Afşin had a population of roughly 90,000 in 2006. Its economy consists mainly of agriculture although in recent years the industry has been developing slowly.
Two of the biggest villages that are connected to Afşin are Kasanlı and Büyük Tatlar.
