Slip Away

"Slip Away" is a song written by David Bowie for the album "Heathen" in 2002. This is a tribute to Uncle Floyd and it was originally intended with that name for the unreleased album "Toy" in 2001.

Live versions

* The song was played live on the Heathen Tour and the A Reality Tour. When The Polyphonic Spree opened for Bowie, they accompanied him in this song.
* A version recorded live at the The Point Theatre, Dublin, Ireland, 22 or 23 November 2003 was released on the live DVD "A Reality Tour".

Other releases

* A slightly longer version (6'14" vs 6'04") appears on the SACD version of "Heathen".
