A World Without Dave is an EP by Carter the Unstoppable Sex Machine. It was the groups only E.P release (consisting of original material) and was released on their new label - Cooking Vinyl - records in 1997.

"A World Without Dave" was released as E.P due to Cooking Vinyl feeling that an E.P would cost fans of the band less money to buy that a full length album thus generating higher sales and gaining a mainstream chart position (it failed). The album was also the debut album for bass player Salv and guitarist Steve. Both would remain part of Carter until the groups demise.
