Countries
The highest point in Scotland (also the highest in Britain) is Ben Nevis, standing at 1344 metres.
The highest points in England and Wales are, respectively, Scafell Pike (978 metres) and Snowdon (1085 metres).
The highest point in Northern Ireland is Slieve Donard in the Mourne Mountains at 850 metres
