Lionel de Welles, 6th Baron Welles

Lionel de Welles, 6th Baron Welles KG (1406 – March 29, 1461) was an English nobleman.

In 1457, he was made a Knight of the Garter. He served as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.

A Lancastrian, he was killed at the Battle of Towton. His body was secretly borne away from the battlefield and interred at Methley.

He had at least two sons:
*Richard de Welles, 7th Baron Welles (c. 1429–1469/1470)
*John Welles, 1st Viscount Welles (d. 1499)

He had at least one daughter:
*Eleanor Welles (c.1428-1490)
