LinuxCabal

LinuxCabal

The LinuxCabal is a group which advocates for Linux and other open source software solutions by providing free meeting space and facilities. The group was originally founded in San Francisco, California in 1996 and, as of 2006, operates out of Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.

The LinuxCabal provides the Linux, Free Software, and Open Source communities easily accessible space and facilities for meetings and presentations, seven days a week, free of charge. The LinuxCabal also sponsors the weekly Installfest, every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. where neophytes and experts may mingle to exchange ideas, news, and solutions. Here questions and problems are brought to the fore which motivate us to stay current with changing needs and solutions.
