- Huttoft
Huttoft is a small village, 4½ miles east of the market town of Alford in the county of
Lincolnshire ,England .It lies along the
A52 road , betweenIngoldmells andSutton-on-Sea . There are a few services in the village, which include Huttoft Primary School, St Margaret's Church, the village hall, aPost Office , aPub called the Axe and Clever and aTexaco petrol station , which also serves as the village shop. Additionally, the village has its own 'landmark'; Booton'sWindmill (no sails) which can be seen for miles.Huttoft is also the location of the Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary which is a non-profit making organisation, existing purely on donations by members of the public and fund-raising efforts by our helpers. Many of the donkeys at the sanctuary have been rescued from cruelty, the sanctuary enables them to live comfortably and to ensure they enjoy the rest of their lives.
A small river called Boys Griff, located at the end of Mill Lane in Huttoft (and also crosses Crawcroft Lane) is a great river for fishing
