Chandra Kopparapu is the Vice President of Sales (Asia-Pacific) of Foundry Networks.

Chandra was the Vice president and General manager of Foundry's Service Provider Business Division, before he took up his present assignment.

Chandra is renowned technology evangelist and has over 17 years of industry experience in “Mission Critical Systems and High Availability” as part of his engineering work at Tandem Computers, Compaq, and now with Foundry Networks.

Chandra is a prolific writer and has addressed many global seminars as keynote speaker. He is also the author of the book titled “Load Balancing Servers, Firewalls and Caches” published by John Wiley & Sons.

He has written numerous articles for many global publications such as Network World and EE Times. He was also instrumental in setting up 10GEA alliance and Metro Ethernet Forum.

Chandra has an Engineering Degree from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in the town of Pilani in the state of Rajasthan, India, and a Master of Business Administration degree from University of California, Berkeley.
