Minimum Age (Fishermen) Convention, 1959 is an International Labour Organization Convention.

It was established in 1959, with the preamble stating:

Having decided upon the adoption of certain proposals with regard to the minimum age for admission to employment as fishermen,...ILO [http://www.ilo.org/ilolex/english/convdisp1.htm Convention C112] ]

Ratifications


The convention was later obsoleted by the Minimum Age Convention, 1973, resulting in its denunciation by most of its signatories (not listed above - see [http://webfusion.ilo.org/public/db/standards/normes/appl/appl-byconv.cfm?conv=C112&hdroff=1&lang=EN] for a complete list).
