Journal of Health Psychology

The Journal of Health Psychology is an interdisciplinary, international journal that deals with psychological approaches to health, illness and health policy.

The journal is an international forum for research and debate in health psychology. It draws on interdisciplinary contributors from social and cross-cultural psychology, clinical psychology, sociology, anthropology, medicine, public health, epidemiology, health communication, and related fields. The journal also aims to reflect the social significance of health psychology by addressing the social, political, and economic contexts of psychological and health processes.

The journal aims to encourage the development of sound theoretical analysis in health psychology. It also aims to draw from traditional empirical methodology in psychology as well as from new perspectives of a more qualitative or critical orientation.
