Sandra Dillon

Sandra Dillon (born in Philadelphia), is an American photographer. She was educated at Parsons School of Design, Paris, France; École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Paris, France; and School of Visual Arts, New York City, NY. Received BFA in Painting, and MFA in Photography and Related Media.

Dillon is focusing on anecdotal solitude and stoic beauty in portraiture through images that evoke strong emotions, seducing the viewer into reflecting upon the subject's provocative candor. She uses medium format camera, and is best described as a traditionalist by never cropping her images or over-printing them in the darkroom.
