Division of Students
The students at the school are divided into four age groups:
*Reception
*The Lower School
*The Middle School
*The Upper SchoolReception
The Reception division consists of children in their first year at school. They are normally 4-5 years of age and, depending on their age and stamina, can have any time in school from half a day to a full day. Students in the Reception class often spend much of their time playing, with the play time gradually moving over to make room for work time as the year progresses.
The Lower School
The Lower School consists of children in Years 1 and 2. These students study
Key Stage 1 of theNational Curriculum .The Middle School
The Middle School consists of children in Years 3 and 4. These students study
Key Stage 2.The Upper School
The Upper School consists of children in Years 5 and 6. These students study
Key Stage 2 and the subjects needed to prepare for theirSATs .Students in the Upper School get the chance of applying for posts of responsibility, such as:
*Library Monitors
*Playground Squad
*Prefects
*Computer Monitors.Teachers

There are two main secondary schools which Four Marks school is a feeder for. These are:

*Amery Hill School .Another school which a few students go to from Four Marks is Eggar's School.
