Jens Lindemann

Jens Lindemann is a Canadian trumpet soloist and instructor now based in Los Angeles. As trumpet of the Canadian Brass from 1996 to 2001, he played at many major concert venues in the world, including the Philharmonics of New York, Los Angeles, London, Manchester, Munich, Hamburg, Lucerne and Berlin.

Lindemann is currently a professor of trumpet at UCLA and Distinguished Visiting Artist at Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia. He has also taught at the Domaine Forget Academy in Quebec.

Recently named "International Brass Personality of the Year", Jens also hosted the 33rd International Trumpet Guild conference in Banff Canada in June of 2008.
