Abraham Nicholas

Major Abraham Nicholas (d. circa September 8, 1738) served as mayor of Williamsburg, Virginia from 1735 to 1736 [ [http://www.ci.williamsburg.va.us/gen/history/govh7.htm History of Williamsburg, Virginia] ] . He married a woman named Ann and had at least one son, Abraham Nicholas who died on March 5, 1751. [ [http://genealogytrails.com/vir/deaths.html Virginia Deaths] ]

Nicholas was also Adjutant-General of the Virginia Colony for some years [ [http://genealogytrails.com/vir/deaths.html Virginia Deaths] ] .
