Hockey Arena

Hockey arena is an internet browser game where people take control of a hockey team with the goal of promoting to the top league in the country they live in, and eventually the world league.

Hockey arena is extremely in depth. The manager must train his/her players, purchase new ones, set up lines, schedule friendly matches, build up a stadium, manage finances, and try to win games.

League Play

All teams are separated by country and put into leagues. Leagues are set up in a pyramid fashion. There is one league I, two league IIs, four league IIIs etc. New teams start in the lowest league. After a thirty game season (league games are played on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays)and an eight team playoff (best of three) the top two teams in each league promote to the next tier of leagues, while the bottom four teams demote. The winners from every country's league I go on to play in the world cup the following season.
