* All-Australian 1979Peter Moore (born 11 January 1957) was an
Australian rules football er who played for Collingwood and Melbourne in the Victorian Football League.A tall, agile ruckman with good ball skills, Moore was one of only three men to have won
Brownlow medal s at different clubs - Collingwood in 1979 and Melbourne in 1984. Recurring hamstring injuries saw Moore's form drop off in his final seasons with Collingwood and he was traded to Melbourne, where his career took on a resurgence.Moore played a total of 249 matches and was desperately unlucky not to play in a premiership side considering he played in the Magpies' losing grand final teams of 1977, 1979, 1980 and 1981.
At the 1979 Perth
State of Origin carnival he was named in theAll-Australian Team .After his AFL career finished, he coached Eltham Football Club, whom he began his career with, to a Premiership in the Diamond Valley Football League, Division 2, in 1990.
In 2005 Moore was inducted into the
Australian Football Hall of Fame .External links
