"666 International" is an album by Dødheimsgard. Proceeding with "Satanic Art", DHG went further into the experimental industrial sound characterized by Moonfog bands such as Thorns and Satyricon.

The band at this time took on a black metal fusion sound, mixing various forms of industrial music elements (Aggro/Industrial-Metal, Cybergrind, and Dark industrial for instance) into their song-writing. The effect doesn't make for a typically cohesive listening experience, as the moods transition very abruptly. However, this seems to be intentional, and as such, lends itself to a very chaotic and "bipolar" tempo on the album. 666 International marked a new era for the band, being the completely different animal that it is, undoubtedly dividing and further alienating more of the dogmatic fan-base from earlier albums (Kronet til Konge, Monumental Possession).

The album features Carl Michael Eide Czral (of Ved Buens Ende, Virus, Aura Noir and Cadaver Inc).

This album also marks the last album of singer Aldrahn (Bjorn Dencker) who would later go on to session on the Thorns album. Aldrahn would depart due to the birth of his daughter in 2001.

According to interviews, the album's title should be taken at face-value, being seen as 50% comical and 50% serious.

Basically, the album has 9 tracks and a playing time of 49:02; however, there are a lot of hidden tracks after "Completion", making "666 International" being 66:06 long and having 66 tracks.

Tracks 10-65 are around 5-10 seconds long each and consist entirely of silence.Track 66 lasts for 11:03, but it also turns to silence after a minute or two.
