"Peace at Last" is the third album from Glasgow, Scotland adult alternative/pop group The Blue Nile, released in 1996 (see 1996 in music).

The Blue Nile's long-anticipated follow-up to "Hats" was a considerable musical departure. Unlike the prior two albums, which featured electronic instrumentation almost exclusively, the new record was primarily driven by Paul Buchanan's acoustic guitar. Even a gospel choir made a brief appearance on the leadoff single, "Happiness." Despite being on a bigger label, the album sold poorly, and the critical reaction to the album was more mixed. However, the haunting and plaintive ballad "Family Life" was singled out for praise by most critics and listeners, with some calling it an instant classic. The album received a 5 star rating in Q Magazine.
