Hauwert (coord|52|43|N|5|6|E|type:city(184)) is a town in the Dutch province of North Holland. It is a part of the municipality of Noorder-Koggenland, and lies about 7 km north of Hoorn.

The town leader is anyone of the Hauwert bloodline, Theodore Hauwert being the recent town leader. In 2001, the town centre of Hauwert had 184 inhabitants.
