"House of Love" is a song by RuPaul, released as her third major-label single, and fifth single overall. Technically it was released as the b-side to her dual-titled first single "Supermodel (You Better Work)", though not all versions of that single were dual.
The single was released in various formats, though the most common was a UK CD single. The song itself is typical of early 90's house music; the theme of the song expounds on RuPaul's early persona of the "drag queen with a heart of gold". It is an anthem about welcoming all different types of people into your heart.
The song did not chart like the previous two singles, and many suspected that it marked the end of RuPaul's music career, but her next single "A Shade Shady (Now Prance)" made it to #1 on the Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play charts.
