ARICNS =HD 73526 is a
yellow dwarf star (G6V) about 323light-year s away in theconstellation Vela.Star
The star is cooler, more luminous, similar mass, and larger than our
Sun . This star is 22% older than our Sun and withmetallicity nearly doubled with the Sun, based on its abundance ofiron .Planetary system
In
2002 , a 2.1 MJ planetHD 73526 b was discovered orbiting just within the orbit ofVenus . This planet receives insolation 3.65 times that of Earth or 1.89 times that of Venus. This single planetary system was known for four years until2006 when 2.3 MJ second planetHD 73526 c was found. This planet forms 2:1orbital resonance with the planet b. Although those masses are minimal asinclination s of these planets are not known.PlanetboxOrbit
