- Hanover Street Bridge
The Hanover Street Bridge is located in
Baltimore ,Maryland . Known asMaryland Route 2 , it runs south away from downtown Baltimore, from the western base of the industrialized Locust Point peninsula and crosses over the Middle Branch of thePatapsco River to the neighborhood of Cherry Hill.Designed by John E. Greiner, the bridge was constructed in 1916 and is considered a Beaux Arts-style reinforced cantilever bridge. [citation
