Kristín Steinsdóttir

Kristín Steinsdóttir is a well-known children's author and translator in Iceland.

She was on the board of The Writer's Union of Iceland from 19932001 and chair of The Icelandic Association of Children's Book Writers (SÍUNG) from 1999 - 2003.

Kristín Steinsdóttir was born in Seyðisfjörður on March 11, 1946, and has been writing since 1988. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Danish and German from the University of Iceland.
