The District government is located in this district. Zhengzhou No.1 High School, one of the best middle schools in Henan Province, which has achieved a high college enrollment ratio of her students, also resides in Zhongyuan District. In addition, Zhongyuan District is the home of all textile factories in Zhengzhou City. On Zhongyuan Road, which lies in the heart on this district, stands the tallest building in the city, Yu Da Guo Mao.
