Hours of Work and Manning (Sea) Convention, 1936 is an International Labour Organization Convention.
It was established in 1936, with the preamble stating:
Having decided upon the adoption of certain proposals with regard to the regulation of hours of work on board ship, and manning in conjunction with hours of work on board ship,...ref|ILO
Modification
This Convention has not been brought into force. It was subsequently revised in 1946 by Convention C76 - Wages, Hours of Work and Manning (Sea) Convention, 1946, and in 1949 by Convention 93 - Wages, Hours of Work and Manning (Sea) Convention (Revised), 1949, and again in 1958 by Convention 109 - Wages, Hours of Work and Manning (Sea) Convention (Revised), 1958.
