The Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective is a non-profit community bicycle program focused on promoting the bicycle culture through various means in Salt Lake City, Utah. Their purpose is to promote cycling as an effective and sustainable form of transportation and as a cornerstone of a cleaner, healthier, and safer society.
Community Shop
The Bicycle Collective community shop is a resource for the community to volunteer their efforts in promoting the bicycle culture. This has included refurbishing bicycles, community mechanic and safety courses and weekly Volunteer Work Parties. The volunteers can barter their work hours for various goods and services. Employment opportunities have also been offered to at risk youth when resources allow.

Organization
The Bicycle Collective is organized and maintained through a seven member unpaid Board of Directors which oversees current programs and a paid program coordinator, the collective's first full-time employee. They are supported by a host of community volunteers.
