Kernewek Lowender

Kernewek Lowender

The Kernewek Lowender is a Cornish-themed biennial festival held in the Copper Triangle towns of Kadina, Moonta and Wallaroo on Yorke Peninsula, South Australia.

'Kernewek Lowender' means 'Cornish happiness' in the Cornish language. Held in the late autumn every two years, the Kernewek Lowender claims to be the world’s largest Cornish Festival outside Cornwall. [cite web|url=http://www.kernewek.org/|title=Kernewek Lowender|accessdate=2008-04-12]
