Hugh Morgan (musician)

Hugh "Huey" Morgan (born August 8, 1968 in New York City as Hugh Thomas Angel Diaz Morgan) is the frontman of the New York-based rock/hip hop group Fun Lovin' Criminals. Morgan is half-Puerto Rican and half-Irish. In his youth he got into trouble with the law. A judge finally gave him the choice between going to jail or joining the Marines. He chose to join the Marines [http://imdb.com/name/nm0604716/ Huey Morgan on IMDB] ] .

In 1993, Morgan formed the Fun Lovin' Criminals with Brian Leiser and Steve Borgovini.

Career outside Fun Lovin' Criminals

Huey wrote a regular wine column for the British magazine "Mondo" from 1999 to 2000.

On TV, Morgan has appeared on UK the comedy music quiz show Never Mind The Buzzcocks, twice as a guest panelist and once as a presenter. He also participated in the BBC's "The Underdog Show", where eight celebrities trained and rehabilitated rescued dogs. Morgan is currently living in Ireland, where he co-owns The Voodoo Lounge, The Dice Bar and DiFontaine's Pizza Place.
