Hurrungane , which is part of theJotunheimen mountain range.There are two summits on the mountain:
* The eastern summit is 2,387 meters, with a primary factor of 155 metres
* The western summit is 2,370 meters, with a primary factor of 25 metres, 300 away from the eastern summit.The ascent is relatively challenging, and there are three possibilities, in increasing order of difficulty:
* Climb viaJervvasstind (Norway's 12th highest peak), originating inSkogadalsbøen
* Traverse the glacier atJervvassbreen and climb from there
* Climb all the peaks fromStore Skagastølstind (Norway's third highest peak at 2,405 m) across to the summit, the so-called Styggedal traverse, which is a multi-day trek acrossStore Skagastølstind ,Vetle Skagastølstind (#18, 2,340m),Sentraltind (#13, 2,348 m), the eastern and then western summits of Styggedalstind, and then descending from Jervvasstind (#12, 2,351 m), bagging 6 of Norway's 20 tallest peaks at once.
