Hemingby is a village and
civil parish in theEast Lindsey district ofLincolnshire ,England , about three miles north of themarket town of HorncastleIt is surrounded by the villages of
Baumber ,Goulceby andWest Ashby . TheRiver Bain and itstributary the Hemingby beck flow through the village. It is just west of the junction of the B1225 and A158.The parish [http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/113122 church] is dedicated to

Methodist chapel in the village: the building is being converted to a private house (February 2007).
