Foreign Service Specialists are employees of the United States Department of State and members of the Foreign Service system that provide services in support of foreign policy at posts worldwide or in Washington, D.C. Specialists are an integral part of the Department of State's presence overseas, dedicated to representing America's interests in other countries.
