Wendelstein Aerial Tramway

The Wendelstein Aerial Tramway ("Wendelstein-Seilbahn") is a 2953 metre long aerial tramway running from Bayrischzell Osterhofen to Mount Wendelstein. It has a maximum speed of 36 km/h and its travel time is 6.5 minutes. The cabins can seat up to 50 passengers, and the tramway can transport up to 450 people per hour. The tramway travels a total height of 932 meters.

The tramway has a 50 mm track cable and a 30 mm haulage rope. Its engine has a maximum output of 490 hp. It has one 75 metre tall support tower.
