Eleanor of Castile (d. 1416)

Eleanor of Castile (after 1363-27 February 1416) was an infanta of Castile and the Queen consort of Navarre.She was the daughter of King Henry II of Castile and his wife, Juana Manuel of Castile, from a cadet branch of the Castilian royal house.

She married King Charles III of Navarre. Of eight children, only two survived their father: Blanche I of Navarre, wife of Juan II of Aragon, and Isabella de Navarre, wife of Jean IV d'Armagnac. Another daughter, Beatrice of Navarre, wife of James II, Count of La Marche, who predeceased her father, left progeny which survived him.
