Suomy (pronounced su-oh-mee) is a popular Italian brand of motorcycle helmets. Suomy's product line largely consists of high-end race helmets. Their Spec 1R and Spec 1R Extreme helmets are the lightest race-sanctioned helmets available at 1250 grams. Suomy is know for vibrant, high quality graphics. They sponsor many of the world's top motorcycle racers, including Troy Bayliss (WSBK), Max Biaggi (WSBK), Loris Capirossi (MotoGP), James Toseland (MotoGP), Alvaro Bautista (MotoGP) and Neil Hodgson (AMA).

Suomy competes with high-end helmet brands such as Arai and Shoei of Japan, Shark of France, Schuberth of Germany and fellow Italian maker AGV. It was the first helmet on the U.S. market to feature both DOT and BSI safety standards.
