- Hercules no Eikō (series)
is a Japanese role-playing video game series originally developed and published by Data East. The series began in 1987 with "Tōjin Makyō-den Hercules no Eikō", and 3 sequels were released until 1994 in addition to a portable spinoff game released in 1992. None of the games have been officially released outside of Japan.
Paon acquired the rights to the series after Data East's bankruptcy in 2003, and the latest installment in the series, "Hercules no Eikō: Tamashī no Shōmei", was released in 2008 by Paon and Nintendo for the Nintendo DS.[cite web |url= http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ds/yekj/ |title= ヘラクレスの栄光 〜魂の証明〜|accessdate=2008-07-31 |work= |publisher= Nintendo |date= |language=Japanese] ]The series is based in the world of Greek mythology, with the Greek hero Hercules as the title character of each game. However, Hercules only serves as the main character in the original game and the Game Boy spinoff, and plays a support role in all subsequent games.

Games are listed in order of release date. The Game Boy version is set in the time frame between the events of the first two games of the series.
