Carmen Twillie Ambar (

As an academic, she is the ninth woman to leadDouglass College and the youngest dean in its history. Ambar was appointed by Governor Corzine to the New Jersey Economic Development Authority Board of Directors. She holds a bachelor's degree in foreign service from the Edmund A. Walsh School atGeorgetown University , a master's degree in public affairs from theWoodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs atPrinceton University , and a law degree fromColumbia University School of Law . Ambar also chairs the Public Leadership Education Network Board and is vice-chair of the New Jersey Commission on the Status of Women.
